Bourgogne Chardonnay Cuvée Réserve, Maison Roche de Bellene. The man behind Domaine de Bellene is the legendary Burgundy specialist Nicolas Potel. Here you get a fine, clean and cool white wine from Burgundy. It's Chardonnay in a cool and elegant style, yet still with good body from the barrel ageing, where only a very small share of new barrels has been used. This is very much a wine carried by its fruity expression. Think lemon peel, yellow apples, pomelo with a hint of smoke and spice - delivered in a silky-soft wrapping with a lovely freshness, like wrapping paper. Available both by the glass and as a bottle.
