Terms of trade

1. Company information

These terms of trade apply to orders placed via aarhusstreetfood.com ("the platform").

2. Order and agreement

When you place an order and complete payment, a binding agreement is formed between you and Aarhus Street Food. You receive a receipt with an order number immediately after.

The food is prepared by the independent kitchens at Aarhus Street Food. The purchase is made from Aarhus Street Food, which subsequently settles with the individual kitchens.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Danish kroner and include VAT (25%). Any options are shown with their price before you add a dish to the cart.

Payment is made either online by card when ordering, or at pickup at the stall if the kitchen offers pay-at-pickup. For card payment the amount is charged when ordering.

4. Pickup

Orders are for pickup at the kitchen in Aarhus Street Food. The food is prepared for pickup as soon as possible — a specific pickup time cannot be chosen.

If you have enabled notifications, we notify you in the browser when your order is ready.

If an online-paid order is not collected, the kitchen may document and mark it as not collected. The prepared order is not refunded automatically; any refund is assessed under the ordinary rules and the individual case.

5. Right of withdrawal

Prepared food and perishable goods are exempt from the ordinary 14-day right of withdrawal, cf. the Danish Consumer Agreements Act. A placed and paid food order can therefore generally not be cancelled.

6. Errors in the order and complaints

If you experience an error in your order, please contact the kitchen at pickup or contact Aarhus Street Food as soon as possible.

7. Liability

If you have allergies or special requirements, confirm them directly with the kitchen at pickup.

8. Personal data

We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

9. Complaints

Complaints can be directed to Aarhus Street Food. You may also complain to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Centre for Complaint Resolution and use the European Commission's online dispute resolution portal (ODR).

10. Governing law

The agreement is governed by Danish law.
