Cereals containing gluten, namely wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut or their hybridised strains, and products thereof. Exempt: wheat-based glucose syrups and maltodextrins, barley-based glucose syrups, and cereals used to make alcoholic distillates.

Fish and products thereof. Exempt: fish gelatine used as a carrier for vitamin or carotenoid preparations, and fish gelatine or isinglass used as a fining agent in beer and wine.

Soybeans and products thereof. Exempt: fully refined soybean oil and fat, natural tocopherols from soybeans, and plant sterols and plant stanol esters made from soybean oil.

Milk and products thereof, including lactose. Exempt: whey used to make alcoholic distillates, and lactitol.
